Q: Should I create an account to begin shopping with you?
A: You can add the interested item into your shopping cart anyway, while you'll be asked to create an account or login your account before moving to the check-out process. Thus, it is suggested to create an account before you begin shopping with us.
Q: How to update my e-mail address and personal info if they are changed?
A: Please login your account and visit MY ACCOUNT page. You can easily update your e-mail address (and all other personal info) there.
Q: I forget my password, should I create a new account?
A: No need to create a new account. In that case you can easily request a new one. Just go to the LOG IN page and click on the link “Password Forgotten? Click here”, and then fill in your registered e-mail address, the new password will be sent to your e-mail address automatically in a few seconds.
Q: How to write a review for my ordering products?
A: Please login your account first and go to visit the product information page of the interested product. Click on the link “REVIEWS” in the bottom of the product information page, and then click on the link “WRITE REVIEW” to write a review for the product.

Q: How to place an order with you?
Q: Will I receive an e-mail confirmation after I complete my order?
A: Yes, once your order is completed, you will receive a confirmation letter sent automatically from our system. Normally, you will receive the letter in a few minutes. If you do not receive it within 24 hours, please contact us for checking if your order is well received by us.
Q: How to track my order?
A: Once we start to prepare your order, you will automatically receive a message from us showing the order is being processed. After the order is accepted by our couriers, you will receive a message from us notifying you that your package was delivered and providing you with a means to track its progress. You can also visit MY ACCOUNT page and click “View the order I have made”to check all the orders you have made before.
Q: What are the payment options at your online store?
A: So far we take major credit cards like VISA, MasterCard, and American Express through PayPal. If you are a registered member of PayPal, you can also pay with your account balance. PayPal is the safer, easier way to pay and get paid online without sharing your financial information.
Q: Do you take cash or check payments?
A: Sorry, we do not accept cash or personal checks due to it's always difficult to define the responsibility once we receive a fake one.
Q: Is there any sales tax when I place an order with you?
A: There is no sales tax on tea or other products when you place an order with us. However if your country imposes a customs duty on tea leaves or our other products, you may have to pay a customs duty.

SHIPPING AND RETURN |
Q: What are your shipping options?
A: We ship all orders worldwide through air parcel post from Taiwan’s post office. Normally, all orders are shipped in 2 working days (Monday to Friday) and received in 1~2 weeks for most countries.
Q: What are your shipping rates?
A: To encourage an economic shopping, we offer free shipping for an order over US$60.00, and free shipping is applied to all products at our online shop. For orders less than US$60, please refer to below table for estimates of shipping cost. The shipping rates are the same worldwide.

Q: How long may I get my order?
A: Normally, once you place an order, all merchandise will be shipped in 2 working days (Monday to Friday) and received in 1~2 weeks for most countries.
For some special days, we are unable to ship your order in 2 consecutive working days due to the post office is closed for national holidays, in that case you may have to wait for some additional days. We will notify you by e-mail automatically.
The delivery time is also different for each destination, depending on the postal service and customs conditions in each country. In the rare case that customs will check the shipment; the package will likely need some additional days to reach its destination.
Q: Can I cancel and return my order after receipt if I don't like it any more?
A: Sorry, once your order is shipped, we are unable to accept any change or cancellation to your order except for damaged, defective, or wrongly shipped merchandise.
Q: Can I get a replacement if I find something was damaged after receipt of my order?
A: Since your satisfaction is a priority, we'll be pleased to exchange damaged, defective, or wrongly shipped items. Additional shipping charge will be paid by TC Formosa Tea. In that case, please contact us within 30 days after receipt of your order for instructions on how to return it. For detail info concerning our return policy, kindly visit our POLICY page.
Q: I want to send a gift to my friend directly, how can I change my shipping address?
A: You can easily change your shipping address in the process of the check-out step. You just have to ensure your new address is filled in correctly.

TEA'S QUALITY, PACKING AND OTHER QUESTIONS |
Q: I am new to your online shop, could you suggest what kind of Formosa tea should I choose?
A: Please go to visit the RECOMMENDATION page. We have a detail introduction about Formosa tea selection there.
Q: Any difference concerning the Formosa oolong offered by local tea shops and your online shop?
A: Yes, following is the main differences between the Formosa oolong offered by local tea shops and our online shop:
1. Variety: We offer a wide range of Formosa oolong for selection that most of them are very likely unavailable at local tea shops.
2. Quality: Most high quality oolong produced in Taiwan is for local consumption and the tea that is sold wholesale overseas is usually of inferior quality. Unlike those inferior Formosa oolong acquired by local tea shops, our oolong at the online shop is exactly same high quality as what we offer to local critical tea drinkers. Besides, all oolong at our online shop is directly from our own tea gardens or contracted tea gardens in Taiwan. Therefore, the quality, safety and origin of our oolong are 100% guaranteed.
3. Pricing: We offer high quality Taiwan oolong with reasonable pricing. In fact, you can get free shipping through an economic ordering -over US$60- which is a MOQ easy to achieve. This way, you will acquire high quality Formosa oolong with lower pricing that local tea shops can not offer.
4. Packaging: Most of our oolong is vacuum-packed in a foil bag with small quantity. We also offer vacuum-packed refills for easy storage. Local tea shops may lack flexibility to offer the same packaging due to lack of relative machines. Besides, the labor cost to have tea vacuum-packed locally with small quantity is much higher than the cost generated in Taiwan.
Q: Do you pack all your teas with tins?
A: We offer tin-pack tea as a standard packaging. We also offer refills without tins for saving the tin cost and the freight cost. It is highly suggested to buy a tin-pack tea first and its refills later after you use up the tin-pack one.
Q: How to store my tea and keep it fresh?
A: Oolong Tea: Oolong belongs to partly-fermented tea. It’s easy to lose its original flavor once it is exposed to the air for only a few hours. Thus, the best way to store oolong tea is to have it vacuum-packed with a foil bag and seal it into a closed canister. Besides, it should be placed in a dark and dry location. Once you open the vacuum-packed tea, please use it up in 1~2 months and remember to put the remaining tea back to the tin all the time.
Black Tea: It’s much easier to store black tea comparing to oolong tea and green tea. You just have to seal it in a closed container and put it in a dark and dry location until using.
Green Tea: Green tea is even much easier to lose its freshness and original flavor than oolong tea. It should be kept away from heat, light, air, moisture, and strong odors. Once the package is opened, please use the tea leaves up as soon as possible. Thus, it is highly suggested to purchase a small amount of tea leaves that you can use up in a short time.
Q: Where your organic teas come from?
A: All of our organic teas come from our contracted tea farm (Jia Tian Organic Tea Farm) which is officially certified organic by the test body authorized by Taiwan’s government. Besides, the tea farm has also passed organic certification according to USDA and EU standards on October of year 2009.
